Occult organisations can fulfill several roles in a TTRPG distribution. The players can have to fight the evil plans of a small cabal, be caught in between two groups fighting to get influence, be dark agents acting to achieve a greater goal, or anything else.

However, coming up with interesting occult factions can be difficult, specifically if you need several details. Don’t worry, my grandmother got your back! She gathered for you all the steps to summon a full-fleshed occult group directly into your DM notes. The steps are all witch-sourced, and as everyone knows, witches are old grandmas that make recipes in cauldrons by mixing strange ingredients. That is why, this guide might look like a recipe book to make some fruit jam.

In the guide, you will find everything you need to build a modern-time occult factions. Each step provides random tables that you can roll with the appropriate dice.

The last part of this recipe book provides a sample occult organisation: the Brotherhood of the Fire Lilies, a secret group of pyrokinesists.
